Kyra created Kyra The Baker in 2018 out of her passion for baking and spreading happiness. Her main goal was to raise funds for organizations like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Ronald Mcdonald House and to make friends and family smile on their birthdays. More recently, she was inspired to spread her baked treats around Oahu.

In 2021, Kyra changed the business to primarily sell cookies. She creates unique cookie flavors like s'mores, Reese's stuffed, brownie, strawberry cheesecake, Biscoff, and more. Through cookie days on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as pop-ups, she was able to meet her lovely customers.

As of 2022, Kyra has sold over 50,000 cookies, hosted four Nordstrom pop-ups, catered for multiple parties, and continues to share her love for baking cookies. In June 2022, she opened up her first pop-up bakery at International Marketplace, which closed in August 2022. Over the two months, Kyra has met many wonderful customers, invited small business owners to be featured in her store, and shared her creations with people worldwide. In November 2022, she fundraised money for an AUW drive through her cookies, which sold out in 30 minutes!

Now a senior in high school, she hopes to expand her business outside of Hawaii while also continuing to share her hand-crafted, freshly baked cookies throughout the island.
